On September 21st-23rd, Project CETI will be participating in the Emerson Collective Climate Science Fair on the High Line in New York City!
Held during NYC Climate Week , the Emerson Collective Climate Science Fair brings together organizations, activists, and community leaders to share their innovative ideas and projects designed to create a more sustainable and just world.
CETI will be hosting a booth at the Science Fair to present how our team of scientists is harnessing the power of non-invasive, gentle robotics and AI to decode sperm whale communication. We aim to show how our decoding sperm whale communication work preserves the biodiversity of the ocean and creates new protections for marine life. Our hope is that visitors walk away with an appreciation for sperm whales and their sophisticated communication as well as with a renewed appreciation of.
